San Fedele Intelvi: Let the bells ring out |

Thanks to modern technology and financial help from the the local Comune, the sound of the Sant'Antonio Abate church bells, San Fedele Intelvi can be heard once again after 25 years. Residents of the village had put a stop to the 'hourly' bell ringing many years ago but it was finally decided last week that enough time had passed and it was time for the bells to ring out once again. The new 'bell ringer' is actually a mechnical device that is connected to an electric circuit which will be set in motion via computer. Now the bells will toll from 8am to 8pm every half hour.
